WB 40SC-2 Single Cartridge Filter Housing
The Harmsco WB 40SC-2 WaterBetter is a stainless steel single cartridge filter housing that uses Harmsco’s patented up-flow design: water enters low and rises through the cartridge, releasing entrained air and loading the media evenly for longer cartridge life and consistent performance. One compact vessel, one high-capacity cartridge — a simple, economical package for commercial water filtration.
The WB 40SC-2 handles flows up to 50 GPM at 150 PSI through 2″ NPT connections, standing 31″ tall in a 1.8 Sq. Ft footprint. It is built from 304 or 316 stainless steel with an electro-polished finish, is NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified (SC-2 models), and is available in a high-temperature configuration.
The WB 40SC-2 single cartridge filter housing accepts Harmsco’s largest-in-industry cartridge selection — WaterBetter Polyester-Plus, carbon options, and high-temperature media — in a wide range of micron ratings, so one housing platform covers sediment, taste-and-odor, and process duties.
WB housings serve commercial drinking water, food and beverage, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, cooling water, and light industrial process filtration. Because it shares one cartridge platform with the larger WaterBetter models, systems can standardize on a single cartridge family from one tap to a full skid, simplifying inventory and service.
