WB WaterBetter Single Cartridge Filter Housings
Harmsco’s WaterBetter WB series is a line of stainless steel single cartridge filter housings built on the patented up-flow design: water enters low and rises through one high-capacity cartridge, releasing entrained air and loading the media evenly for longer life and consistent performance. Three sizes (WB 40, 90, and 170) with 1″ or 2″ connections cover flows up to 150 GPM.
Every WB single cartridge filter housing is rated to 150 PSI, built from 304 or 316 stainless steel with an electro-polished finish, and available in a high-temperature configuration. SC-2 models are NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified for drinking water. Compact footprints from 1.8 to 3.7 square feet fit tight mechanical rooms.
WB housings accept Harmsco’s largest-in-industry cartridge selection — WaterBetter Polyester-Plus, carbon options, and high-temperature media — across a wide micron range, so one platform covers sediment, taste-and-odor, and process duties.
WB housings serve commercial drinking water, food and beverage, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, cooling water, and light industrial process filtration. Because the whole line shares one cartridge platform, systems can standardize on a single cartridge family from one tap to a full skid, simplifying inventory and service.
