HUR 170 HP COAT Epoxy Coated Filter Housing
The Harmsco HUR 170 HP COAT is a carbon-steel epoxy coated filter housing protected by a tough fusion-bonded epoxy coating, engineered for economical filtration in industrial and corrosive-duty applications where stainless steel is not required. It is built on Harmsco’s patented Hurricane platform, which uses an up-flow cyclonic action to separate dense solids before they reach the cartridge — extending cartridge life, increasing dirt-holding capacity, and lowering operating cost.
The HUR 170 HP COAT is rated to 150 PSI and occupies a compact 3.7 Sq. Ft footprint. It is fabricated from carbon steel and finished with a fusion-bonded epoxy coating that resists corrosion at a lower cost than stainless steel, with 2″ NPT inlet and outlet connections for straightforward installation. It shares the same vessel platform as the Hurricane HP line.
The HUR 170 HP COAT accepts Harmsco’s full range of cartridges — Polyester-Plus, Poly-Pleat, All-Poly, Carbon Block, SureSafe Antimicrobial, and High-Temperature — so you can match micron rating and media to your process. With HTM high-temperature cartridges it handles elevated-temperature service.
