The Harmsco WB 5X170FL COAT is a WaterBetter-platform epoxy coated filter housing: a carbon-steel vessel protected by fusion-bonded epoxy, holding 5 high-capacity cartridges on Harmsco’s patented up-flow path. It delivers the same even cartridge loading and long service life as the stainless WaterBetter line at a lower cost — the economical choice where stainless is not required.
The WB 5X170FL COAT is pressure rated to 125 PSI with 4″ flange connections, fabricated from carbon steel and finished inside and out with fusion-bonded epoxy for corrosion resistance. A high-temperature configuration is available.
This epoxy coated filter housing accepts Harmsco’s WaterBetter cartridge range — Polyester-Plus, carbon, and high-temperature media — across a wide range of micron ratings, so you can match filtration precisely to the duty.
WB COAT housings serve industrial process water, cooling loops, ground water, and pre-filtration duties where a coated carbon-steel vessel is the economical alternative to stainless.
