WB WaterBetter Coated Filter Housings
Harmsco’s WB COAT series is a line of WaterBetter-platform epoxy coated filter housings: carbon-steel vessels protected by fusion-bonded epoxy, delivering the same patented up-flow performance as the stainless WaterBetter line at a lower cost. Single-cartridge and multi-cartridge models cover duties up to 750 GPM where stainless is not required.
WB COAT housings are pressure rated up to 150 PSI depending on model, fabricated from carbon steel and finished inside and out with fusion-bonded epoxy for corrosion resistance, with high-temperature configurations available. NPT and flanged connections suit both packaged systems and plant piping.
Every epoxy coated filter housing in the line accepts Harmsco’s WaterBetter cartridge range — Polyester-Plus, carbon, and high-temperature media — across a wide micron range for precise matching to the duty. Because coated and stainless models share the platform, spare cartridges fit either fleet interchangeably.
The WB COAT line serves industrial process water, cooling loops, ground water, and pre-filtration duties where coated carbon steel is the economical alternative to stainless. Shared cartridge platforms mean mixed fleets keep one spare-parts inventory, and the capital saved on vessels can go toward better cartridges and instrumentation, where filtration performance is actually decided.
