HMC-51-FL Multi Cartridge Filter Housing

The Harmsco HMC-51-FL is a stainless steel multi cartridge filter housing designed around 40″ nominal-length cartridges — 51 of them in a single slim vessel. Long cartridges mean more media per cartridge change, and the Swing Bolt closure keeps those changes fast. Built to ASME design standards (no U-stamp), the HMC line brings serious flow capacity to a remarkably small footprint.

The HMC-51-FL handles flows up to 1,400 GPM at 150 PSI through 6″ flange connections, holding 51 × 40″ cartridges at 108″ service height in a 3.7 Sq. Ft footprint. It is built from 304 or 316 stainless steel with a bead-blast finish.

The HMC-51-FL multi cartridge filter housing accepts 40″ nominal cartridges from Harmsco’s NSF-certified range — Polyester-Plus, Poly-Pleat, All-Poly, Carbon, and High-Temperature media — so you can match micron rating and media to the duty while minimizing cartridge count.

HMC housings serve industrial and municipal process water, cooling loops, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, and high-flow polishing where floor space is tight and service time matters. Compared with banks of short-cartridge vessels, one HMC housing cuts cartridge count dramatically: fewer seals to inspect, fewer changes to schedule, and less waste to dispose of. Harmsco has manufactured filtration products in the USA, in Riviera Beach, Florida, since 1958.
