HMC 40″ Multi Cartridge Filter Housings
Harmsco’s HMC series is a line of stainless steel multi cartridge filter housings designed around 40″ nominal-length cartridges — from 5 to 51 per vessel. Long cartridges mean more media per cartridge change, the Swing Bolt closure keeps changes fast, and slim vessels bring serious flow capacity to remarkably small footprints. All models are built to ASME design standards (no U-stamp).
Every multi cartridge filter housing in the HMC line is rated to 150 PSI and built from 304L or 316L stainless steel with a bead-blast finish. Six models (HMC-5 through HMC-51-FL) cover flows from 150 to 1,400 GPM with FNPT connections on smaller sizes and 3″–6″ flanges on FL models.
HMC housings accept 40″ nominal cartridges from Harmsco’s NSF-certified range — Polyester-Plus, Poly-Pleat, All-Poly, Carbon, and High-Temperature media — so you can match micron rating and media to the duty while minimizing cartridge count.
HMC multi cartridge filter housings serve industrial and municipal process water, cooling loops, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, and high-flow polishing where floor space is tight. Compared with banks of short-cartridge vessels, one HMC housing cuts cartridge count dramatically: fewer seals to inspect, fewer changes to schedule, and less waste to dispose of.
