HIF 24 Up-Flow Industrial Filter Housing
The Harmsco HIF 24 is a stainless steel cluster industrial filter housing built on Harmsco’s up-flow design: water enters at the bottom and rises through a cluster of standard-diameter cartridges, releasing entrained air and distributing flow evenly so every cartridge loads uniformly. The result is longer cartridge life, better solids handling, and lower operating cost. Like every HIF housing and cartridge, it is BABA compliant (Build America, Buy America) for federally funded projects.
The HIF 24 handles flows up to 100 GPM at 150 PSI through 2″ NPT connections, holding 8 cartridges (29-1/4″ length) in a 1.2 Sq. Ft footprint. It is built from 304 or 316 stainless steel with an electro-polished finish and is available in a high-temperature configuration for hot process water.
The HIF 24 industrial filter housing uses standard 2-1/2″ and 2-3/4″ diameter cartridges — the most widely available cartridge format in the industry — so you can choose from Harmsco’s NSF-certified range or compatible commodity cartridges, matching micron rating and media to the job without proprietary lock-in.
HIF cluster housings serve industrial process water, cooling loops, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, ground water remediation, and municipal projects — where BABA compliance makes the HIF 24 eligible for federally funded work. Harmsco has manufactured filtration products in the USA, in Riviera Beach, Florida, since 1958.
