HIF Cluster Up-Flow Industrial Filter Housings
Harmsco’s HIF series is a line of stainless steel cluster industrial filter housings built on the up-flow principle: water enters at the bottom and rises through a cluster of standard-diameter cartridges, releasing entrained air and loading every cartridge evenly. Ten sizes cover flows from 30 to 800 GPM, and every HIF housing and cartridge is BABA compliant (Build America, Buy America) for federally funded projects.
HIF housings are pressure rated to 150 PSI, built from 304 or 316 stainless steel with an electro-polished finish, and available in high-temperature configurations. Compact footprints from 1.2 to 4.7 square feet hold 7 to 50 cartridges, with NPT connections on smaller sizes and 4″ flanges on the FL models.
Every HIF industrial filter housing uses standard 2-1/2″ and 2-3/4″ diameter cartridges — the most widely available cartridge format in the industry — so you can match micron rating and media from Harmsco’s NSF-certified, BABA-compliant range without proprietary lock-in.
HIF cluster housings serve industrial process water, cooling loops, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, ground water remediation, and municipal treatment, where BABA compliance qualifies them for federally funded infrastructure work. Harmsco has manufactured filtration products in the USA, in Riviera Beach, Florida, since 1958.
