HC/40-0.35-HTM Hurricane HTM Metal End Cap Filter Cartridge
The Harmsco HC/40-0.35-HTM is a 0.35 micron nominal rated metal end cap filter cartridge — the hottest-rated cartridge in the Hurricane line, built with metal end caps. It measures 7.75″ OD x 9.625″ long and is NSF certified, made in the USA since 1958.
The HC/40-0.35-HTM carries 40 sq ft of pleated Polyester-Plus media and flows up to 35 GPM with low pressure drop, rated for continuous service to 250°F. Pleated construction holds several times the dirt of wound or spun elements at the same 0.35 micron rating, stretching change-out intervals accordingly.
Plants specify the HC/40-0.35-HTM for continuous hot service to 250°F, condensate and boiler-adjacent polishing, hot CIP return loops, and thermal process water in Hurricane housings. See the compatible housings on this page for the exact models it fits.
The metal end caps hold the gasket seal and cartridge structure at full rated temperature, where plastic-capped elements deform and bypass. Track differential pressure across the housing and change the cartridge at your target ΔP to keep flow at design and protect downstream equipment.
