HUR 40 HP Stainless Steel Filter Housing
The Harmsco HUR 40 HP is a compact, high-efficiency stainless steel filter housing built for residential, light-commercial, and point-of-entry water filtration. It uses Harmsco’s patented Hurricane up-flow design to spin dense solids out of the water before they reach the cartridge, so a single cartridge delivers longer life, greater dirt-holding capacity, and lower operating cost than a conventional housing of the same size.
The HUR 40 HP is rated for flows up to 50 GPM at 150 PSI in a compact 1.0 Sq. Ft footprint. It is built from 304 or 316 stainless steel with an electro-polished finish, NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 61 certified for drinking water, and available in a high-temperature configuration for hot-water service.
The Hurricane HP housing accepts Harmsco’s full range of NSF-certified cartridges — Polyester-Plus, Poly-Pleat, All-Poly, Carbon Block, SureSafe Antimicrobial, and High-Temperature — so you can match micron rating and media to your water chemistry. With HTM high-temperature cartridges it operates up to 250°F (121°C).
The HUR 40 HP stainless steel filter housing is ideal for home and light-commercial drinking water, well water, point-of-entry treatment, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, and small-scale process water. Its compact single-cartridge design also makes it a practical fit for OEM skids, packaged treatment systems, and tight mechanical rooms where space is limited.
