HP Hurricane Stainless Steel Filter Housings
The Harmsco Hurricane HP series is a line of compact, high-efficiency stainless steel filter housings for residential, light-commercial, and point-of-entry water filtration. Available in three sizes — HUR 40 HP, 90 HP, and 170 HP — they cover flows up to 150 GPM while sharing Harmsco’s patented Hurricane up-flow design that separates dense solids before the cartridge stage for longer cartridge life and lower operating cost.
Every HP Hurricane stainless steel filter housing is rated to 150 PSI, built from 304 or 316 stainless steel with an electro-polished finish, NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 61 certified for drinking water, and available in a high-temperature configuration. Single-cartridge vessels keep the footprint small — from 1.0 to 3.7 square feet — for easy installation in tight mechanical rooms.
The HP line accepts Harmsco’s full range of NSF-certified cartridges — Polyester-Plus, Poly-Pleat, All-Poly, Carbon Block, SureSafe Antimicrobial, and High-Temperature — so you can match micron rating and media to your water chemistry.
HP Hurricane stainless steel filter housings serve home and light-commercial drinking water, well water, point-of-entry treatment, and reverse osmosis pre-filtration. Their compact single-cartridge designs also make the HP series a practical fit for OEM skids and packaged treatment systems where space and cost both matter.
