PPFS-BB-10-1 Poly-Pleat Absolute Filter Cartridge
The Harmsco PPFS-BB-10-1 is a 1 micron absolute rated poly-pleat filter cartridge — absolute-rated filtration for jobs where nominal is not good enough. It measures 4.5" OD x 9.75" long and is NSF certified, made in the USA since 1958.
The PPFS-BB-10-1 carries 8 sq ft of pleated Polypropylene media and flows up to 4 GPM with low pressure drop, rated for continuous service to 140°F. Pleated construction holds several times the dirt of wound or spun elements at the same 1 micron rating, stretching change-out intervals accordingly.
Plants specify the PPFS-BB-10-1 for pre-RO membrane protection with a validated cutoff, UV disinfection protection, food and beverage process water, and chemical-bearing streams needing all-poly construction. See the compatible housings on this page for the exact models it fits.
The absolute rating holds through the cartridge's service life — replace at your target differential pressure to keep the validated cutoff. Track differential pressure across the housing and change the cartridge at your target ΔP to keep flow at design and protect downstream equipment.
