HIF Cluster Coated Filter Housings
Harmsco’s HIF Cluster COAT series is a line of up-flow epoxy coated filter housings finished in tough 3M™ Scotchkote™ epoxy over stainless steel — extra armor for corrosive or coastal duty. Ten sizes mirror the standard HIF line, covering 30 to 800 GPM, and every housing and cartridge is BABA compliant (Build America, Buy America) for federally funded projects.
Every housing in the line is rated to 150 PSI, fabricated from 304 or 316 stainless steel with the 3M Scotchkote epoxy finish, and available in high-temperature configurations. The up-flow path releases entrained air and loads all cartridges evenly for longer life and stable performance.
Each epoxy coated filter housing uses standard 2-1/2″ and 2-3/4″ diameter cartridges — the industry’s most available format — from Harmsco’s NSF-certified, BABA-compliant range, with no proprietary lock-in.
HIF COAT housings serve industrial process water, coastal and corrosive-atmosphere installations, municipal treatment, and federally funded infrastructure where BABA compliance is required. For coastal plants and chemically aggressive environments, an epoxy coated filter housing extends vessel life well beyond bare metal while keeping the same cartridges, footprint, and service procedures as the standard HIF line. Harmsco has manufactured filtration products in the USA, in Riviera Beach, Florida, since 1958.
