Swing Bolt Hurricane Stainless Steel Filter Housings

Harmsco’s Hurricane Swing Bolt line is the flagship family of stainless steel filter housings, combining three technologies in one vessel: cyclonic separation, cartridge filtration, and the patented up-flow design. Dense solids are spun out before they reach the cartridges, extending filter life, increasing dirt-holding capacity, and lowering operating cost across six sizes covering flows up to 2,400 GPM.

Every Hurricane Swing Bolt stainless steel filter housing is NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 61 certified, built to ASME design standards (no U-stamp) from 304L or 316L stainless steel, and pressure rated to 150 PSI standard or 235 PSI in the XXP series. The tool-light Swing Bolt closure keeps cartridge changes fast for plant operators.

The line accepts the industry’s largest selection of NSF-certified cartridges — Polyester-Plus, Poly-Pleat, All-Poly, Carbon Block, SureSafe Antimicrobial, and High-Temperature — with HTM cartridges enabling service up to 250°F.

Hurricane Swing Bolt housings serve drinking water, cooling towers, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, ground water remediation, data centers, food and beverage, and industrial wastewater.
