MUNI-16-12FL Municipal Water Filter Housing
The Harmsco MUNI-16-12FL is a stainless steel municipal water filter housing in the Municipal Hurricane Swing Bolt line, engineered for community drinking-water systems that need serious flow capacity. Hurricane cyclonic up-flow separation spins solids away before the cartridge stage, extending cartridge life and cutting operating cost, while the tool-light Swing Bolt closure keeps cartridge changes fast for plant operators.
The MUNI-16-12FL handles flows up to 1,600 GPM at 150 PSI through 12″ flange connections, holding 16 cartridges in a 45.5 Sq. Ft footprint. It is built from 304L or 316L stainless steel with an electro-polished finish and is available in a high-temperature configuration. The six-size Municipal Swing Bolt line scales from 100 to 1,600 GPM so systems can grow without changing platforms.
The MUNI-16-12FL municipal water filter housing accepts Harmsco’s NSF-certified cartridge range — including LT2-focused media for cyst reduction plus Polyester-Plus, Poly-Pleat, All-Poly, Carbon Block, and High-Temperature options — letting operators match micron rating and media to source water and compliance targets.
