MUNI Swing Bolt Municipal Water Filter Housings

Harmsco’s MUNI Swing Bolt line is a family of municipal water filter housings engineered for community drinking-water systems. EPA LT2 compliant and delivering up to 3.6-log cyst reduction with certified cartridges, the line uses Hurricane cyclonic up-flow separation ahead of the cartridge stage — an economical route to compliance at flows up to 1,600 GPM.

Every municipal water filter housing in the MUNI SB line is rated up to 150 PSI, built from 304L or 316L stainless steel with an electro-polished finish, and available in high-temperature configurations. Six sizes scale from 100 to 1,600 GPM through 2″ to 12″ flanged connections, with the tool-light Swing Bolt closure keeping cartridge changes fast for operators.

MUNI housings accept Harmsco’s NSF-certified cartridge range, including LT2-focused cyst-reduction media plus Polyester-Plus, Poly-Pleat, All-Poly, Carbon Block, and High-Temperature options, so operators match micron rating and media to source water and compliance targets.

The MUNI Swing Bolt line serves municipal drinking-water treatment, EPA LT2 surface-water compliance strategies, well fields, reservoir and spring sources, and district water systems. For small systems facing LT2 surface-water rules, cartridge-based compliance avoids the capital cost and operational complexity of membrane or UV alternatives.
