WaterBetter Band Clamp Residential Water Filter Housings
Harmsco’s WBC series is a line of stainless steel residential water filter housings combining the patented WaterBetter up-flow design with a tool-free band-clamp closure. Three sizes — WBC 40SC-2, 90SC-2, and 170SC-2 — cover flows up to 150 GPM, each holding a single high-capacity cartridge that loads evenly and lasts longer thanks to the up-flow path.
Every WBC residential water filter housing is rated to 150 PSI, built from electro-polished 304 stainless steel (316L available) with a CPVC standpipe standard (stainless optional), and available in a high-temperature configuration. The band-clamp assembly opens without tools for quick, clean cartridge changes, and stainless construction means no cracked plastic sumps and a service life measured in decades, not seasons.
WBC housings accept Harmsco’s WaterBetter cartridge range — Polyester-Plus sediment, carbon for taste and odor, and high-temperature media — in a wide range of micron ratings for whole-home water quality.
The WBC line is ideal for whole-house filtration, well water, point-of-entry treatment, and light-commercial duties where tool-free service matters. Paired with a carbon cartridge it improves taste and odor at every faucet; with Polyester-Plus media it protects plumbing, fixtures, and appliances from sediment.
