HMB-E Multi Bag Filter Housings
Harmsco’s HMB-E series is a line of stainless steel multi bag filter housings holding 4 to 12 extended-length filter bags behind a Swing Bolt closure, with a standard “V”-ring bag seal that prevents bypass. Extended bags pack maximum dirt-holding capacity into each change-out, making the line the economical choice for heavy solids at flows up to 2,400 GPM.
Every multi bag filter housing in the HMB-E line is rated up to 150 PSI and built from 304L or 316L stainless steel with an electro-polished finish. Four models (HMB-4E through HMB-12E) cover 800 to 1,800 GPM through 4″ to 12″ flanged connections, with the Swing Bolt closure keeping bag changes fast and clean.
HMB-E housings accept extended-length filter bags in a wide range of micron ratings and media, with the “V”-ring seal ensuring unfiltered water cannot bypass the bags — from coarse roughing duty to fine polishing.
HMB-E multi bag filter housings serve industrial process water, wastewater treatment, cooling loops, and pre-filtration ahead of membranes and cartridge stages in high-flow plants. For plants already running cartridge filtration, an HMB-E bag stage upstream extends cartridge life dramatically by catching the bulk solids first.
