BetterFilter BF-Series Commercial Pool Filter Housings
Harmsco’s BetterFilter BF series is a line of stainless steel commercial pool filter housings using reusable cartridges instead of sand. Cartridge filtration polishes pool water to superior clarity while using no backwash water at all — saving thousands of gallons and the chemicals to retreat them — with flows up to 450 GPM per housing and manifold options for larger pools.
Every commercial pool filter housing in the BF line is pressure rated to 50 PSI and built from 304L stainless steel with an electro-polished finish; fusion-bonded epoxy coated and portable versions are available. Thirteen sizes from BF-42 to BF-1200FL scale cartridge count from 7 to 50 in compact 1.0 to 2.2 square-foot footprints.
BF housings accept Harmsco’s pool cartridge range — including SureSafe antimicrobial and Tropiclean media — in cleanable, reusable formats that cut ongoing filter cost versus disposable elements.
The BF series serves commercial swimming pools, water parks, spas, and aquatic facilities where water clarity, backwash elimination, and NSF 50 listed equipment matter. Fewer backwashes also means less makeup water to heat and balance, compounding savings season after season.
