WaterBetter WBHC High Capacity Filter Housings
Harmsco’s WBHC series is a line of stainless steel high capacity filter housings built on the patented WaterBetter up-flow platform: water enters low and rises through large-format cartridges, releasing entrained air and loading every cartridge evenly. Multi-cartridge models (WB 3X170, 3X170FL, and 5X170FL) reach flows up to 750 GPM from compact vessels.
WBHC housings are pressure rated up to 150 PSI depending on model, built from 304L or 316L stainless steel with an electro-polished finish, NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified, and available in high-temperature configurations. NPT and flanged connection options suit both packaged systems and plant piping.
Every WBHC high capacity filter housing accepts Harmsco’s largest-in-industry cartridge selection — WaterBetter Polyester-Plus, carbon options, and high-temperature media — across a wide micron range for precise matching to the duty.
WBHC housings serve commercial and industrial process water, cooling loops, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, and high-flow drinking water systems where one compact housing replaces several smaller units. Fewer vessels means fewer connections, a smaller footprint, and faster cartridge changes at service time, cutting both installed cost and maintenance labor.
