Residential Filter Housings – Hurricane HP
Harmsco’s Hurricane HP line gives homeowners and light-commercial users a compact, high-efficiency residential filter housing in durable stainless steel. Offered in three sizes (HUR 40 HP, 90 HP, and 170 HP) covering flows up to 150 GPM, each uses Harmsco’s patented Hurricane up-flow design to spin solids out before the cartridge, so cartridges last longer and operating cost stays low — a meaningful saving for whole-home and point-of-entry systems.
Performance and construction
Each residential filter housing is rated to 150 PSI, built from 304 or 316 stainless steel with an electro-polished finish, and NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 61 certified for drinking water. A small single-cartridge footprint (1.0 to 3.7 square feet) fits easily in a garage, utility room, or mechanical closet, and a high-temperature option is available.

The HP residential housings accept Harmsco’s full range of NSF-certified cartridges — Polyester-Plus, Poly-Pleat, All-Poly, Carbon Block, SureSafe Antimicrobial, and High-Temperature — so you can dial in sediment, taste-and-odor, or cyst reduction for your home’s water.
Applications
A Hurricane HP residential filter housing is ideal for whole-home drinking water, well water, point-of-entry treatment, and reverse osmosis pre-filtration. The compact footprint also makes the HP line a practical pre-filtration stage ahead of water softeners and RO systems in the home.
