BetterFilter Single Cartridge Commercial Pool Filters
Harmsco’s BetterFilter SC line is a family of single-cartridge stainless steel commercial pool filter housings covering pools from roughly 20,000 to 56,000 gallons. One high-capacity reusable cartridge polishes water to a clarity sand cannot match while using no backwash water at all, and the patented up-flow design eliminates trapped air while loading media evenly.
Every SC commercial pool filter is pressure rated to 50 PSI with 2″ NPT 304L stainless steel inlet and outlet pipes, a strong PVC center tube for stability, and brass wing nuts that seal the cover without tools. The housings carry an NSF listing for commercial and public installations, in footprints of just 1.2 square feet.
SC housings use ST-series cartridges (ST55 through ST155), cleanable and reusable season after season, with SureSafe antimicrobial media options that inhibit bacterial growth within the filter itself.
The SC line serves community pools, hotel and HOA pools, spas, and splash pads where simple service and crystal-clear water matter. No backwash also means no wasted heated, treated water. Harmsco has manufactured filtration products in the USA, in Riviera Beach, Florida, since 1958.
