BetterFilter BF510 Marine Water Filter Series
Harmsco’s BF510 Marine Series is a high-capacity stainless steel marine water filter packing 510 square feet of filtration media into one vessel. That enormous media area means long intervals between cleanings and stable flow as the filter loads — with reusable cartridges and zero backwash, conserving fresh water where it is scarcest.
The BF510 Marine is pressure rated to 50 PSI, NSF/ANSI/CAN 50 certified, and built in 304L stainless steel with a fusion-bonded epoxy coated version available for the harshest marine environments. Its compact vessel suits engine rooms, dock houses, and pump rooms.
This marine water filter uses Harmsco’s high-capacity cleanable, reusable cartridges — including antimicrobial media options that inhibit bacterial growth within the filter itself. Cleaning is simple: rinse the element dockside, reinstall, and the housing is back in service in minutes, without recurring media replacement costs.
The BF510 Marine Series serves large vessels, marinas, waterfront aquatic facilities, aquariums, and coastal installations where sustained clarity, corrosion resistance, and fresh-water conservation all matter. Recovering the water a sand filter would send overboard as backwash often pays for the housing within a single season of heavy use.
