Band Clamp Filter Housings
Harmsco’s BC series is a line of stainless steel band clamp filter housings holding 4 or 6 standard-diameter cartridges in compact vessels. The band-clamp closure opens without tools, so cartridge changes take minutes — practical workhorses for commercial and light-industrial filtration. Housings and cartridges are BABA compliant (Build America, Buy America) for federally funded projects, and fusion-bonded epoxy coated versions are available.
Every band clamp filter housing in the BC line is rated to 150 PSI, built from 304L or 316L stainless steel with an electro-polished finish, and covers flows from 25 to 126 GPM across six models (BC4 and BC6, in three cartridge lengths each) with footprints of just 1.2 to 1.4 square feet.
BC housings use standard 2-1/2″ and 2-3/4″ diameter cartridges — the most widely available format in the industry — so you can match micron rating and media from Harmsco’s NSF-certified range without proprietary lock-in.
BC band clamp filter housings serve commercial drinking water, food and beverage, reverse osmosis pre-filtration, cooling water, and light industrial process duties where fast, tool-free service keeps downtime short. Because four and six-round models share the same closure and cartridge format, plants can scale flow by adding vessels without changing spare-parts inventory or service procedures.
